Wow it's been along time since I wrote in this thing so here it goes..... I got 2 new jobs, a new roommate, i'm in Lent, my grandmother died, and I've been having auditions every week. So, my new jobs are great!!! They both pay really well. One job provides me with the constant flow of food which I need in order to feed my gluttony, while the other gives me the chance to keep in touch with one of my academic loves (research). They're both local, and extremely casual. My old roommate moved out, and my new roommate couldn't be more perfect. Oh my God, this girl is thee IDEAL roommie. She's exceptionally clean, super considerate, uber responsible, and generally just open and frank, In fact we've concluded that we're very much alike. She's also bought in a lot of housewares and appliances that this house much desired before. I think things between us will work out gloriously. I'm in lent right now, and though its tough (in part because of things like the article in Complexes' Feb/March 2004 issue about the best burger places in Los Angeles), I feel it's a worthy sacrifice. I've already begun to reap the benefits of showing my gratitude through this venture, as my life is better now than its been since I've moved here 2.5 years ago. Oh, and my grandmother died. No tears or pain on my part, I feel that certain people can stop the suffering now. That whole ordeal with her death was draining and perilous, but its over now, and forever! The auditions keep rolling in, giving me the opportunity to meet people in my field. Like I said, life seems a bit better now. I'm grateful. Oh, please excuse the lack of syncopation in my writing today, as I'm just trying to get this all out. Peace
